Centenary Heights

Centenary Heights is located south of the Toowoomba CBD and was mostly developed from
about 1959 to 1975. The suburb was named Centenary Heights in 1960 when Toowoomba
celebrated its centenary.

Residents can choose from a variety of retail outlets with nearby suburban shopping centres
which offer national food chains and specialty stores. Centenary Heights has a village feeling
that centres on Southtown shopping centre which is a collection of shops including a great coffee
house and restaurant. It is busy on weekends when people come for breakfast and coffee to
enjoy the ambience of the village atmosphere.

The area has a good mix of tidy brick veneer and timber homes on average sized blocks.

The area is well serviced by schools, shops and parks.
